TOWNER Down Tension Bar

The piece is awesome exactly what I needed. However the transaction was less than perfect due to having to order because I had to order the studs separately and pay for expensive shipping twice. I missed the banner on my mobile order that is very visible on the normal website. I build and ship guitars and shipping is what it is but for small parts this is on the higher end. The part is made of high quality and workmanship is very good. I highly recommend it

Great solution to my problem, I have an Xtrem tremolo on my epiphone sheraton, unforunately the bridge ground is on the stop bar studs. After almost giving up on it, i found the Towner down tension bar and it solved two problems! The grounding issue was resolved and I have a steeper break angle bewteen the xtrem and the roller bridge, also limits sympathetic ringing!

After I installed my bigsby I was getting string harmonics between the bridge and bigsby. With the install of the bigsby, I had not re-grounded the guitar to the bridge. The Towner Down Tension Bar fixed both of those problems for me.

Very simple, practical, well engineered solution for adding break angle to my Bigsby install. And as my ground wire is on the stop bar studs, it solved the issue of ground.

I’ve become a bit of a Bigsby addict over the years and I’ve tried the Vibramate adapter stuff for non-destructive mounting, and I found it to be expensive, cumbersome, and not always providing a universal fit. The Towner Down Tension Bar and thier various spacers and hinge plate adapters not only provide a simple, elegant, non-destructive Bigsby mounting system, but they improve the performance of the Bigsby as well!
