TOWNER Down Tension Bar

It is working as described. It's a nice set up that allowed me to mount a b3 bigsby on my Gretsch 5220, and makes use of the mounting holes from the fixed tail. I was glad that I had ordered some the of mounting studs because tension bar's mount points are too small to make use of the studs that were used for the tail piece.

The DTB works great.
I decided against the HPA because I would not be able to use the Gretsch strap button any longer.

The piece is awesome exactly what I needed. However the transaction was less than perfect due to having to order because I had to order the studs separately and pay for expensive shipping twice. I missed the banner on my mobile order that is very visible on the normal website. I build and ship guitars and shipping is what it is but for small parts this is on the higher end. The part is made of high quality and workmanship is very good. I highly recommend it

Great solution to my problem, I have an Xtrem tremolo on my epiphone sheraton, unforunately the bridge ground is on the stop bar studs. After almost giving up on it, i found the Towner down tension bar and it solved two problems! The grounding issue was resolved and I have a steeper break angle bewteen the xtrem and the roller bridge, also limits sympathetic ringing!
