And I recommend the 1 inch spring for 335 style guitars because the Bigsby arm, over the archtop, sets the arm too close to the body.
BIGSBY® B6 Kit with TOWNER System
The TOWNER Down Tension Bar manages your sustain controlling your break angle.
The TOWNER Down Tension Bar allows you to control how much string tension you want.
Recommended to set the Down Tension Bar just below the saddles of the bridge.
The TOWNER Hinge Plate Adaptor is designed to provide a flat surface for your strap lock or strap button on the BIGSBY® EX-SHORT hinge plate.
The TOWNER Hinge Plate Adaptor slot provides room for exact placement of the BIGSBY®.
The TOWNER Hinge Plate Adaptor and 2″ strap button screw acts as a retainer holding the BIGSBY® to the guitar body, relieving you from having to drill four extra screws into your guitar.
I recommend the 1" inch Spring for B6’s, provides a comfortable distance between the guitar and the Bigsby arm.
‘Some’ ES-347’s have the studs set lower on the guitar body. If so, use the TOWNER B3 KIT because the studs are set further back on the guitar.

Awesome Design
Recently installed this kit and it’s absolutely incredible. The instructions are extremely easy to understand and all elements were extremely easy to install.
I had originally owned a Bigsby B7 and was going to install it with another brand’s product beginning with ‘V’. However, the Towner system is much more aesthetically pleasing and having installed, much more practical and efficient!
I followed the advice from Towner and sold my B7 and bought the kit. The best decision I’ve made in terms of guitar mods. I really cannot recommend this high enough.
Instagram replies are also very quick and Towner are extremely helpful with any questions.
If you’re considering a retrofit without drilling, this is the way to go!

Love it! The tuning is more stable than on my other factory-installed bigsby guitar somehow, too. Hard not to install one on all my other guitars!
First off, Towner Customer Service was great. They answered all my questions and help pick out the right kit, and the parts guide was also helpful. The B6 kits works flawlessy. I had mine installed by a professional, along with a Gyker Roller Bridge and I couldn't be happier.
